ESL: Supporting TUís International Students In The Transition To Campus Life

The English as a Second Language (ESL) program is designed to help International Students achieve English proficiency required by your degree programs and expose you to many facets of American culture.

The ESL program provides an all-around training of English-language skills in reading, listening, and writing, which are conducted at three levels: Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced. A placement test will be administered to determine your level of study in the ESL program. Students placed in the Intermediate or Advanced level may be permitted to enroll simultaneously in credit courses required by your degree program. The ESL program also offers comprehensive orientation that prepares our International Students for university studies and campus life.

Students in the ESL have full access to Tiffin University facilities, including Computer Labs, Dining Facilities, the Fitness Center, Murphy Academic Support Center, and the Library.
