Tiffin University’s Freshman Year Experience Program provides you with a support program that both enables and empowers you to experience real success during your first year of college. This support program exists within a real community of faculty, staff and fellow students.
Our programs include a comprehensive Freshman Seminar Experience, a Freshman Reading Program, and an Academic Advising Program that ensures you have met with an advisor.
The Transition From High School To College
Freshman Seminar advisors are able to help you with the academic and social aspects of the transition from high school to college. The Dean of the Freshman Year Experience can also assist you with emotional and personal concerns. We recognize that you may have challenges during your first year, so Freshman Seminar helps you create a solid foundation for your next four years at TU.
