Rudy Brownell has been named Head Men’s Soccer Coach at Tiffin University, taking over for departing Men’s Soccer Coach and Director of Athletics Ian Day. Brownell will also continue to serve as Women’s Soccer Coach.

"I welcome the opportunity to take over the men’s program,” Brownell, who holds a 49-21-11 career mark, said. “I want to continue the winning tradition that Ian established. I have been fortunate to help guide the women’s program to success in recent years, and my intention is to have the same kind of success with the men’s program.”

“They say you shouldn’t select your successor, but after being the coach of the program for the last 24 seasons, I have more than a vested interest,” said Ian Day. “I couldn’t be happier to see Rudy as the new head coach. He knows the program inside out and I’m confident he will do an outstanding job to continue the success.”
