Dragons drop 5-set match to Alderson-BroaddusTiffin University had a rollercoaster match at Alderson-Broaddus, winning the first set 25-21 before dropping the next two games 20-25, 9-25. The Dragons bounced back to pull out game four 25-23 but could not win the match, falling in the fifth set 9-15. Brittany Teaford had 12 kills and 6 blocks while Giavana DiPietro also had 12 kills. Lindsey Heller had 25 digs defensively, and Jess Adams totaled 40 assists.Dragons season ends in GLIAC semifinals with 1-0 defeatTiffin University (11-7-2) played hard but came up just short in the GLIAC Semifinals, falling to Saginaw Valley State 1-0. The Dragons were outshot in the game 11-4 and managed just one shot on goal over 90 minutes. The Cardinals got the winning goal in the 70th minute after a scoreless first half. Lindsey Gallagher was in goal for TU, making 3 saves.Dragons advance to GLIAC Championship game with win over NorthwoodTiffin University (14-4-1) played a solid game in beating Northwood 2-0 in the Semifinal round of the GLIAC Men's Soccer Championships. The Dragons picked up a goal in the 15th minute when Nick Kutch took a cross from Ashton Campbell and drilled it into the left corner of the net, giving the Dragons a 1-0 halftime edge. The Dragons scored quickly after the halftime break, as Paul Brodnik knocked home a rebound shot from Rhys Cannella in the 46th minute to give TU an insurance goal. The Dragons controlled play throughout the game, holding a 17-8 shot advantage. Jeff Frisch got the shutout in goal, making 4 saves over 90 minutes.
