Men's Tennis had the highest GPA at 3.48 while the softball team had the highest female GPA at 3.46.

"Our coaching staff has made a concerted effort to have our student-athletes work hard not just in the area of athletics but in the classroom as well. Being in the GLIAC we are recruiting a different level of student athlete and our coaches have set high goals for their teams academically. We set these goals for our student athletes at the start of the year so everyone works together to accomplish the goals throughout the school year. I am proud of our coaches but most of all of our athletes," Athletic Director Lonny Allen said.

"Two years ago we started utilizing faculty sport sponsors for each sport. Faculty Athletic Representative Bonnie Tiell designed and implemented this program and it has worked wonders for our student-athletes. She and the sport sponsors all deserve credit for the accomplishment also. It is a total team effort campus-wide."
