Dragon Assistant Coaches
Kurt Rammel enters his third year as a member of the Tiffin University coaching staff. After serving as a student assistant in 2006, Kurt took over the duties as the Graduate Assistant last season. Kurt hails from Coldwater, OH where he attended Coldwater High School. While at Coldwater, Kurt was a two-time All-Conference member. After high school, Kurt attended Defiance college where he was named honorable mention All-Conference player as a freshman. His sophomore year, Kurt transferred to Tiffin University where he was an honorable mention All-Conference player for the Dragons. Kurt graduated from Tiffin with a bachelor’s degree in sports management and marketing. His coaching experience includes assisting St. Henry Legion Post 648, who was a state qualifier in 2003. He was also the Head Acme Coach for the Maria Stein Marion Local High School. Kurt will be working with the outfielders, catchers, hitters, and recruiting.

Brian Coleman
Brian Coleman enters his first year of coaching with the Dragons baseball junior varsity program. Coleman is a Tiffin native who graduated from Calvert High School and played four years as a starter in centerfield for Heidelberg College, serving as captain and an Academic All-American. Coleman, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree, served as Head Baseball Coach at Bettsville High School for four years, turning the Bobcats around from a 1-22 record in 1998 to a 16-10 record in 2001. Coleman, who also served as a Assistant Baseball Coach for TU in 2002, has run his own pitching/hitting school since 1998 and lives in Tiffin with his wife, Duana, and daughter, Bria.
Martin D'Amico
Marty D’Amico enters his first year of coaching with the Dragon baseball program. D’Amico is a native of Twinsburg, Ohio and will graduate this year from Tiffin University with a bachelor’s degree in Homeland Security and Terrorism Studies as well as a degree in Law Enforcement. D’Amico is also a three-year letter winner with the Dragon program and received All Conference Scholar Athlete last year. D’Amico is taking over the student assistant duties and will help assist the varsity and junior varsity programs with a concentration on the infielders and hitters.
