Mark Verkest is a pitcher who comes to TU from Sterling Heights, MI.  He is the son of Greg and Sharon Verkest and has two brothers: Jeff and Matt.  While attending Stevenson High School he was coached by Joe Emanuele and was All-League, All-County, All-District, and All-East MI.  Mark is a Law Enforcement major and plans to go into the police department after graduation.  Mark was All-AMC Honorable mention in 2006.
