Dragons men remain 8th in Midwest Region
Tiffin University's men's cross country team remained in the 8th spot in the
Midwest Region in the USTFCCCA's latest poll. The Dragons were one
of five GLIAC schools landing in the top 10, with Grand Valley State
picked first. Ashland was third, while Hillsdale was 6th. Saginaw Valley State just made the cut in 10th.

Dragons men picked 8th in Midwest Region
Tiffin University's men's cross country team was picked 8th in the Midwest Region in the USTFCCCA's Preseason poll. The Dragons were one of five GLIAC schools landing in the top 10, with Grand Valley State picked first. Ashland was fourth, while Saginaw Valley State was fifth. Hillsdale just made the cut in 10th place.

Three Dragons earn academic honor
Tiffin's Chad Roberts, Jeremy Lee, and Justin Setty all earned All-Academic selection by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association following the 2007 season. A total of 127 male student-athletes representing 67 Division II institutions made the team. To qualify, athletes had to post a GPA between 3.25 and 4.00 with at least 24 semester hours while also finish in the top 30 percent of individual participants at their respective regional championships.
Tiffin's Roberts takes 28th at NCAA Nationals
Tiffin's Chad Roberts competed at the NCAA National Cross Country Championships held at Missouri Southern State University, taking 28th with a time of 31:17.4. Roberts competed with 186 other runners at the meet.Chad Roberts earns trip to NCAA Nationals (more)
Tiffin lands four runners on All-ICAA Academic team
Tiffin had three men and one woman named to the 2007 All-ICAA Academic team. Chad Roberts was the top independent honoree, with a 3.97 GPA in Sports Management. Thomas Buxton was next (3.95, Marketing) while Justin Setty (3.83, Forensic Psychology) also made the team. On the Lady Dragons side, Katie Zvansky was the lone honoree from Tiffin with a 3.73 GPA in Management.
Roberts earns All-Region selection
Tiffin's Chad Roberts was named to the All-Great Lakes Region team by the United States Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association after his performance at the NCAA Regional at SIU-Edwardsville on Nov. 3. Roberts, who landed a trip to the NCAA Nationals with his 10th place finish, earned automatic selection to the Region team by finishing in the top 15.
