Dragons Do Well in First Meet
Tiffin University hosted an open Cross
Country meet at Paradiso Athletic Complex to get the season under way.
The Dragons had a strong showing in both races which also featured
Heidelberg University and Lake Erie College. Zachary Lathrop took first
place in the 3k race, crossing the finish line in 9:04, and Marcus
Johnson took third place, finishing in 9:35. In the 6k race, Nick Thomas
earned a second place finish with a time of 19:07. Dominique O’Neil
finished in third place with a time of 19:24. Atlantis Troutman took
fifth place by finishing the race at 19:48.
Lady Dragons Give Strong Showing in Home Meet
Tiffin University’s women had a strong showing at the first cross country meet of the season at Paradiso Athletic Complex which saw 4 Dragons finish in the top 5 against runners from Heidelberg University and Lake Erie College. Carly Reese captured first place with a time of 11:07. Rebecca Miller (11:25) and Heidi Kiesel (11:42) took second and third, respectively. Maria Shaw finished fifth with a time of 11:57.
