Equestrian Facilities (photos)
The 34 acre facility has a 70' x 135' indoor arena with a heated observation room and a 100' x 200' outdoor arena. Trails in the woods surround the pastures. Our priorities are the safety and comfort of our horses and riders.
In order to maintain consistent progress, we encourage students to ride in at least one lesson per week, usually scheduled at the same day and time. Initially, instruction is best accomplished in a private lesson. For young and beginning students, half hour private lessons offer an opportunity to get started riding without as great a time or cost commitment. Our goal is that our students will learn how to care for a horse as well as ride the horse. Our instructors are CHA certified riding instructors. Horses in our care for training will be trained to be safe mounts for their owners.
