Dragons finish fall season at Motor City Invitational
Tiffin University's men's golf team placed 8th of 10 teams at the Motor City Invitational hosted by Wayne State University. The Dragons improved in each of the three rounds, shooting 321 the first day, 312 in round two, and 301 in the final round to move ahead of Saginaw Valley State for 8th place. Dillon Klein was the top finisher in 20th place, shooting 81-74-71 for a score of 226, while Brad Wannemacher shot 79-81-75 for 235. Tom Conway fired a 236, Jon Klein had 245, and Jim Van Fleet shot 245.Dragons finish 8th at GLIAC Championships
Tiffin University's men's golf team placed 8th of 10 teams at the GLIAC Championships at the Greywalls Course at Marquette Golf Club in Marquette, Michigan. TU fired a 947, shooting a 310 in round one, falling off to 320 in round two, and finishing round three with 317. Jimmy Bell was the top Dragons golfer in 22nd place with a 233 (76-82-75), while Dillon Klein was 27th with 235 (79-80-76). Tom Conway shot 244, Jon Klein had 246, and Justin Epure finished with 247.Former Dragons golfer on Golf Channel reality show

TU announces Dragon Radio featuring three live events
Tiffin University is proud to announce the debut of Dragon Radio Live, a monthly radio program that will broadcast live from Madison Street Pub and Grub on Oct. 5 from 6-7 p.m. The show is part of a continuing partnership between Tiffin University and WMJK 100.9 FM and provides insight into Dragons Athletics as well as highlights the continuing development of the program and institution through the construction of the new Recreation Center and other initiatives. Alumni and Friends of the University are invited to join in the fun of a "live" show. Doors open at 5 p.m.
WMJK is the home of Dragons football, broadcasting all 11 games while
also providing an internet stream for fans to listen to abroad. Dragons
Radio will be a monthly feature highlighting all Dragons Athletic teams
along with their sponsors and supporters, with a total of three
broadcasts being live events from local establishments. Future live
broadcasts are scheduled for Nov. 16 at T.J. Willies and March 15 at
Madison Street Pub and Grub. Voice of the Dragons Frank Barber,
entering his 15th year working with Tiffin University, is the host of
the show, while a wide variety of coaches, administrators, and players
will receive exposure and provide interesting insight into Tiffin
University.
Dragons place 7th at Ferris State Invite
Tiffin University's
men's golf team placed 7th of 9 teams at the Ferris State Invitational, shooting a three-round total of 291-295-301-887. Dillon Klein was the top placer for TU, taking 11th place overall with rounds of 71-71-75-217. Jimmy Bell and Jon Klein tied for 23rd, with Bell shooting 71-75-76-222 and Klein firing a 73-73-76-222. Tom Conway (227) and Brad Wannemacher (232) also placed in the top five for TU. 
Dragons place 14th at Great Lakes Regional
Tiffin University's men's golf team placed 14th of 24 teams as they played in Great Lakes Regional I in South Haven, Michigan. The Dragons shot 611 while Wayne State won the event with a 573. Dillon Klein was the top Dragons finisher in 29th place with 73-75-148, while James Bell had a great second round to finish 83-71-154 in second for TU. Tom Conway and Justin Epure shot 157 each, while Andy Kronander had 159.
Dragons place 8th at Al Watrous Memorial
Tiffin
University's men's golf team placed 8th of 11 teams as they began their 2009-10 season at the Al Watrous Memorial Invitational held by Saginaw Valley State University. TU improved by 13 strokes from round one to round two, shooting a 303-290-593. Dillon Klein and Justin Epure had the best improvement in the second round, with Klein finishing 22nd with a 78-70-148, while Epure improved from 78 to 71 in his second round to finish with 149. Jimmy Ball was also 22nd with a 73-75-148, while Tom Conway fired a 149. Andy Kronander was 41st with a 154.

Total of 76 athletes earn Spring GLIAC Academic honors
Tiffin University had 76 spring athletes that landed GLIAC All-Academic honors, as the conference announced its spring academic honorees. Overall 565 GLIAC athletes were honored. Baseball (22) and Men's Track (23) had the most honored sports in the conference in their respective sports. For the complete list, click here.
