Head Coach Pat Ortner
Pat Ortner enters his first season as Men's Tennis Coach for the Dragons.
Ortner has a wealth of tennis experience, most recently serving as Heidelberg College's Head Women's Tennis coach from 1998-2004. While at Heidelberg he was second in career wins and led the 2000 team to the most single season wins in school history. He currently serves as the Northwest Ohio USTA 14U Junior Davis/Wightman Cup Head Coach, coaching the top juniors in NWO against players from the Midwest USTA section. He is also an assistant coach at the USTA Competitive Training Center, working with the top 14 and under junior players in Northwest Ohio. He also has coaching stints at Sandusky High School and Fremont Ross High School between 1990-97. He is currently the Head Tennis Professional at Baywinds Athletic Club in Sandusky, Ohio.
Ortner, who resides in Sandusky, Ohio, has numerous teaching certifications, including USTA Sports Science Level II.
