Tiffin University will send local product Keith Reiter to the NCAA Division II Indoor National Championships this weekend. Reiter, raised in nearby Fostoria, earned the sixth best mark nationally in the pole vault event at 4.95 meters, breaking his own record from the 2007 season by almost a foot.

Reiter will compete on Saturday, March 15th, on the Minnesota State University campus in Mankato, Minnesota. For his accomplishments, Reiter has been named a 2007-08 NCAA Division II All-American. Last year, Reiter narrowly missed NAIA All-American honors as he finished seventh in the nation at the NAIA Championships.

The lone Dragon representative was nearly joined by sophomore Ramone Brant, who finished 20th in the nation in the sixty-meter hurdles with a time of 8.20, and the team's four person distance relay team of Thomas Buxton, Jason Bumb, Mike Ballistrea, and Jeremy Lee.
