Last week, the Tiffin Univeristy women's basketball team took time out
of their off-season training to read to second and third grade students
at Clinton Elementary School. The first photo (left) pictures Kylene Spiegel,
a Jr Sports & Recreation Management major from Morenci, MI reading
to Ms Leslie Poignon's second grade class. The second photo (below) pictures
Holly Focke (green shirt), a freshmen Hospitality Management from
Cincinnati, OH and Megan Fletcher (pink shirt), a junior Psychology
major from Florence, KY reading to second graders in Pauline Smith's
class. The women's basketball team hosts several lock-ins for
elementary students throughout the year in the Gillmor Student Center.
Tiffin University (12-15) ended their season on a positive note,
posting a big road upset of NCAA Division II Gannon University 68-56
behind 25 points and 10 rebounds by Leanne Lucius of New Riegel Ohio.
