Mandy Jaeb was the first, signing her National Letter of Intent in the early signing period before her senior season at Louisville High School. She will come to Tiffin University as a point guard. In her final high school season she scored over a thousand points and claimed the new record at Louisville High School, scoring 1,125 pts in her career there. She performs well on the court and takes that same determination and leadership to the classroom. She is ranked 5th in her class with a 3.90 GPA which earned her Academic All-Ohio honors this year. “We are pleased to add Mandy to our roster for next season,” Head Coach Pam Oswald said. “She is an exceptional point-guard who sees the floor well and brings a lot of energy to the defensive end of the court."
The Dragons have also signed two forwards here in the spring signing period for next season’s roster. Jessica Harris, a native of Logan, OH, earned back to back Player of the Year honors in the Southeastern Ohio Athletic League North Division in 2007 & 2008. She is also only one of ten Lady Chiefs at Logan High School to reach the 1,000 point mark in her career. “By adding Jessica to our roster we feel that we are getting a physical post player and a vocal leader,” Head Coach Pam Oswald said. “With her versatility and competitive spirit she will definitely make an impact on our program.”
Another forward, 6’1” Megan Snyder from Flint, MI, will be a Dragon next season as well. She played for Carman-Ainsworth High School and competed in the Big Nine Conference. Snyder averaged 14 points, 8 boards, 6 assists, and 2 blocks per game in her senior year and was an emotional leader for the Cavaliers. “Megan is a player who is going to continue to only get better because of her work ethic and determination,” Head Coach Pam Oswald said. “She has that ’never give up’ attitude that we are looking for to take this program to the next level.”
"My staff has worked hard to bring in quality student-athletes that will help us be competitive in our first season in the GLIAC," Oswald added. "I feel that we have done just that with these three young ladies."
