Dragons finish 6th at GLIAC Championships
Tiffin University's
Lady Dragons shot 750 (382-368), finishing 6th at the GLIAC
Championships. Amber Wetherill was the top finisher for the Lady
Dragons, tying for 19th with 83-88-171, while Sara Durkee was next with
87-88-175. Amanda Hoile shot 197 and Kahla Bernacchi finished with 207.
Grand Valley State won the event with a total of 615.
Dragons place 5th at Tiffin Invitational
Tiffin University's Lady Dragons shot 363, placing 5th at the
rain-shortened Tiffin University Invitational. Amber Wetherill was the
top finisher for TU, placing 5th with an 82 in the one-day event, while
Sara Durkee was next with 88. Amanda Hoile shot 96, and Kahla Bernacchi
fired a 97.
Dragons finish 10th at Ashland Invite
Tiffin University's Lady Dragons shot 218, finishing 10th at the
Ashland Invitational. Sara Durkee led the squad with rounds of
49-45-94, while Amber Wetherill and Kahla Bernacchi each finished with
final scores of 96. Amanda Hoile also shot 114.
Dragons place 7th at Northwood Invite
Tiffin University's Lady Dragons shot 767, finishing 7th at the
Northwood Invite. Amber Wetherill was the top finisher for TU, shooting
96-92-188, while Amanda Hoile had 190. Sara Durkee fired a 191 and
Kahla Bernacchi had 198.

Dragons running Winter Golf Clinic
The men's and women's golf team at Tiffin University will be
running a Winter Golf Clinic on Sunday, March 1 from 10 am to 2 pm.
Registration begins at 9 am in the Gillmor Center. The clinic is for
boys and girls ages 6-18 and the cost is only $15. Coaches are free.
Refreshments and pizza will be provided. Instruction will cover all
facets of the golf swing and playing fundamentals, including a rules
session. Walk-ins are welcome, and players are reminded to wear clean
tennis shoes and bring their own golf clubs. Contact the golf office at
