Krista Sowers comes to TU from Anchorage, AK to pitch for the Dragons. Krista is the daughter of Dave and Kim Sowers. While attending Bartlett High School Krista was coached by Bob Smith and received All-Conference: 2001, ’02, ’03, ’04, All-State: 2003, ’04, and Alaska Gatorade Player of the Year honors. Krista was named to the AMC North Freshman team, 1st team All Independent DII and a NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete in 2006. In 2007, Krista was named the AMC North Pitcher of the Year, Region 9 Pitcher of the Year and NAIA Honorable Mention All American. Krista is an Accounting major here at TU and plans on attending graduate school to earn a MBA and eventually get her CPA.
