AN ALTERNATIVE PAYMENT OPTION
Tiffin University offers you the Cohort Payment Plan (CPP) as an alternative to standard payment arrangements.
The CPP allows you to determine how much of your program tuition you want to pay in equal monthly payments. This will afford you the ability to budgetannual costs to best fit your individual needs.
NO INTEREST CHARGES
The CPP provides all of the benefits of a monthly payment plan without charging interest. By making monthly payments affordable out of "current income," the CPP will help you avoid additional borrowing. There is a one time application fee of $75.00 to cover administrative expenses associated with the CPP.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Tiffin University offers several options for making your monthly payments. You may pay with cash or check, or choose to have your credit/debit card (MasterCard, Visa, and Discover) automatically charged on the first business day of each month. Tiffin University also offers direct withdraw from your checking/saving account. A final option is a web-based electronic payment using a credit/debit card. You can access this option by logging on the the Campus Connect Online Protal at http://tunet.tiffin.edu . For all other options, please contact the Bursar directly at 800.968.6446, ext. 3409.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1) Budget Amount / Payments
The total program budgeted amount is payable in 20 equal installments due on the first day of each month, beginning with the month following your cohort start date. Budgeting in this plan is not permitted on a term basis. All payments made through the CPP will be credited directly to the student's account. Refunds for any reason will be handled through normal college refund and credit procedures.
The amunt budgeted for the CPP should ensure a $0 balance at the end of each adademic term. Tiffin University reserves the right to deny registration to any student not current on his/her account.
2)Fees and Other Charges
The $75.00 application fee is non-refundable. A $10.00 late fee will be assessed for each montly payment that is not received by the due date. Tiffin University will also assess a $15.00 service charge against your account for any payment returned for insufficient funds or which is not collectible for any other reason. Any fees assessed to your CPP account will be added directly to your account.
3) Failure to Pay
In the event of a failure to pay any installment amount within thirty days of the due date, enrollment in the CPP will be terminated. Any remaining balance will be due in full. Upon default of any, or all, of the terms and conditions of this agreement the signer immediately becomes liable for reasonable attorney fees and/or actual or reasonable collections costs which may be added to the total amount due.
4) Errors
Any errors in budgeting which result in an unpaid balance is the responsibility of the student.
PLANNING YOUR BUDGET
When calculating your budget needs, we realize you may not be certain of your exact expenses or deductions for the coming academic year. For this readon, you may estimate your program budget needs for the purpose of enrolling in the CPP. You are free to change your budget amount during the course of the plan, upward or downward, when more accurate information becomes available. Simply call the Bursar's office at 800.968.6446, ext. 3409 to make changes.
STUDENTS WITH 100% TUITION REIMBURSEMENT FROM EMPLOYERS
Students who receive 100% tution reimbursement from their employer have a special option under the CPP. Students in this category may elect to make a one-time payment at the beginning of the program equal to the tuition of one 3-credit hour course. Subsequent payments must be subimtted to the University in a timely manner as the student receives his/her reimbursement check from his/her employer. The initial payment will keep the account current for the entire Fast Track program as long as the student remits reimbursement checks to the University in a timely manner.
FINANCIAL AID
Regardless of financial need, you may be eligible for the following minimum amounts of financial aid from the State and Federal governments.
- Ohio Choice Grant - Must be an Ohio resident who has never attended full-time college prior to 1984.
- Stafford Loan -Interest may be subsidized on a portion of this loan. Repayment beings after graduation.
- Additional aid may also be available based on your FAFSA informaion.
HERE'S HOW TO APPLY
Step 1: Using the CPP worksheet below, determine the amount of tuition you wish to budget in equal monthly payments.
Step 2: Complete the application and return it by the Cohort Payment Plan start date, along with the $75.00 application fee and initial payment.
Step 3: Upon receipt of your application fee and initial payment, Tiffin University will establish your account and furnish you with payment coupons for the remaining payments.
Late enrollement: If you wish to take full advantage of this montly payment plan, you are urged to submit the application prior to your cohort start date, however, late enrollment is available at a reduced number of montly payments based on the actual enrollment date.
ALL PAYMENTS WILL BE DUE ON THE FIRST OF THE MONTH beginning with your applicatin fee and initial payment due on or before your cohort start date.

Once you have figured out the payments, fill out the Cohort Payment Plan Application and send it in.
