Tryout Information
Tiffin University recognizes the Cheerleading program as a Club Sport offering extra-curricular scholarships to all participants. Currently, we have 31 members for the 2007-2008 Football and Basketball seasons.
In order to become a member of the Cheerleading Team at Tiffin University, all returning and new members must attend the two-day tryout in April 2008. (Exact date to be announced early 2008.) All material required for tryouts will be taught on day one of tryouts. All prospective cheerleaders will perform the material on day two of tryouts in front of an experienced panel of judges. Any tumbling is optional, but encouraged. Stunting and mounting is not required or judged at the tryout, but will be taught once earning a position on the team. The Cheerleading program follows all AACCA safety guidelines.
In order to get the most current information about Tiffin University and the Cheerleading program, please fill out the online Application for Undergraduate Admission, indicating your interest in the Cheerleading program. Once you have applied to Tiffin University, more detailed information regarding the 2007-2008 tryouts will be mailed to you in early 2008.
