Jacob Simon

Hello! My name is Jacob Simon and I serve as the Director of Residence Life here at Tiffin University. I am originally from Morral, Ohio and have worked at Tiffin University since graduating with a Bachelor of Criminal Justice degree in Forensic Psychology from TU in 2013. I found my passion for helping students while working as a Peer Mentor, Tutor, Supplemental Instructor, Resident Assistant, Head Resident, and Assistant Area Coordinator during my undergraduate program. During this time I was also very involved several student organizations on campus. I was a member of Theta Eta Omicron fraternity, Kappa Kappa Psi band service fraternity, Concert Choir, Marching and Concert Band, as well as several other organizations.

I am currently a student at Colorado State University working toward my Master of Science degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education. I look forward to engaging with students in all facets of their college experience and enjoy watching students grow. I also serve as a Title IX Investigator and advisor of Tiffin Resident Council and the Pokémon Club.

I currently live in Tiffin with my two cats, Nemo and Dory, and turtle, Toby. Tiffin, Ohio is very important to me and I enjoy being involved in my community. I have helped and acted with The Ritz Players, a community theatre group at The Ritz Theatre downtown. I also enjoy helping out other organizations such as the Seneca County Young Professionals. I am always in the mood to go see a movie or watch something on Netflix. Fall and Halloween are my favorite times of the year and I enjoy traveling during the summer. Sushi is my favorite food and I will (almost) never turn down a Reese Cup.
