English Majors have real opportunities both on-campus and off-campus to acquire the real-world experience you’ll need for this challenging profession. On-campus internships including working with TU’s Media Relations and Publications Department, or with professors who are preparing manuscripts for publication. Other on-campus opportunities include working with TU Publications, on the T. U. Review, and with the English Enthusiasts Club.
TU also has relationships off-campus for internships with local and regional newspapers and publishing companies, with non-profit organizations like The United Way, and with The Washington Internship Center. As well, several TU students have served internships teaching part-time for two-year colleges.
