Government and National Security Internships

Our students have interned at Interpol, the Secret Service, U.S. Marshals, the Drug Enforcement Agency, the National Geospatial Agency, U.S. Customs, and contracting entities to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, as well as other federal agencies and contractors.  Students have also interned at the Ohio Department of Homeland Security; and at international airports.

Opportunities For Students On Campus

TU students have formed a Global Affairs Organization (GAO) to promote interest on campus in national and homeland security issues.  The GAO has arranged field trips, a 9/11 commemoration, and electronic SWAT training, and takes the student lead in the visits to campus of such national figures as then-CIA Director Porter Goss, former National Counterterrorism Center Chief John Brennan, FBI National Security Chief Willie Hulon, and recruiters and other visitors from Washington and elsewhere.
