Greek Organization Membership

Greek Recruitment Elgibility
In order for a Tiffin University student join a Greek organization, under the jurisdicition of Greek Council, he or she must meet the following eligibility requirements.

  1. The student must be a full-time student at Tiffin University.
  2. The student must have completed one semester of full-time academic work (15 hrs) at Tiffin University, not including a summer session.
  3. The student must have and maintain a 2.00 cumulative grade point average.


Greek Recruitment
Three weeks of recruitment activities are held in the spring semester, starting the week after classes begin.  The first two weeks of events include activities that are planned by Greek Council, while the second week includes activities that are planned by the individual organization.  A formal Induction Ceremony sponsored by the Office of Greek Affiars is held after the three weeks to welcome the new Greeks.
