Fix-It Fridays
Fix-It Fridays are an opportunity for students to bring their
computers to the ITS Office and have an ITS PC Tech set up their
computer for Dorm Access or a computer "cleaning". Students receive
instruction booklets on how to setup Dorm Access which allows you
to set it up yourself or you can ask a student that has
successfully done it to help you. Fix-It Fridays are for students
that cannot get their computers setup or who are not comfortable
enough with their own computer skill to install software or
Ethernet cards on their own system. Also in an effort to keep the
Tiffin University network clean, if a students computer has become
infected by spyware, malware, or a virus, Fix-It Fridays offer
students chance to have their computer thoroughly cleaned.
(Fix-It Fridays can be used ONLY for the direct use of getting an
individual connected to the network and computer cleaning.)
The following rules apply:
- A backup should be made of the hard drive before ITS repairs a

configured/installed/or repaired by ITS.
- The PC's must be brought to the ITS office located on the
second floor of Hertzer Technology Center
- You will not need to bring your monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
