Meet the Information Technology Services (ITS) Staff

Clinton Vickers, Executive Director, Information Technology Services & CIO , (855) 664-1200

Clinton is responsible for all aspects of information technology and computer services operations, policy, planning, evaluation, budget, personnel supervision, and development. His other duties include the advocacy, development, and coordination of academic and administrative computing, telecommunications and networking, as well as media, web, distance education, and other instructional technology activities both within and outside Tiffin University.

Jennifer Almendinger, Systems Administrator , (855) 664-1200

Jennifer's primary responsibilities include augmenting support of the file/print services and email systems, such as system upgrades, patching, testing documentation, and planning. Also responsible for scheduling and monitoring systems backups, and providing end user support for Netware file system.

Brian Smith, Systems Administrator , (855) 664-1200

Brian is part of a team that operates and maintains the campus Student Information System and the complimentary software that comprises this system.

Cory Gottron, Multimedia Support Specialist , (855) 664-1200

Cory is responsible for administrating multiple systems across Tiffin University's campus including student and faculty ID cards (dorm entry, library checkouts, and meal plans), video surveillance, document imaging (digital back up of paper documents), smart-boards within classrooms (implementation, training and maintenance of the devices), as well as filming and video editing of on and off campus events for web and TV broadcast. Cory also oversees the video editing lab and all video equipment.

Jennifer Saam, Webmaster & Graphic Design Technician , (855) 664-1200

Jenniferís primary responsibilities include creating and maintaining web content on the TU website, and TU intranet websites. Jennifer's other duties are creating and developing graphics for TU websites and various visual medias. Graphic design projects include brochures, newsletters, logos, posters, and banners. Other duties include assisting as technical support for the Help Desk.

Gary Dayton, Systems Administrator , (855) 664-1200

Garyís role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support TUís core organizational functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. Gary oversees TU's primary physical and virtual data center, storage, network, and security infrastructure, as well as critical network services and resources that operate on these devices. He is also part of a team that operates and maintains the campus Student Information System and the complimentary software that comprises this system.

Benjamin Wagner, Help Desk Technician , (855) 664-1200

Ben is responsible for coordinating the ITS Help Desk making sure support requests are answered in a timely manner and completed with the highest quality possible. Ben is responsible for primary support of both hardware and software for 750+ machines from Dell and Apple, as well as over 80 networked printers and copiers from HP, Ricoh, and Konica Minolta. He is also in charge of the Dell-Kace Systems Management and Imaging Appliances, managing a team of student PC Technicians, and the departmentís two Graduate Assistants.


Micah Rettig , Application Data Specialist , (855) 664-1200

Micah is responsible for the extraction and movement of data between disparate systems; assisting departments with data reporting needs; the analysis, design, and creation of reports for administrative offices; and assisting with general technical support of administrative systems.

Angelica Garcia, Graduate Assistant , (855) 664-1200

Angelica oversees the computer labs on campus. This includes making sure the computer labs are fully staffed and dealing with any problems that may arise. Angelica also manages internet connectivity for TUís 40+ on-campus student houses. She also helps maintain campus computers and assists faculty, staff, and students with technical problems.

Trevorís primary responsibilities include technical support with hardware and software for faculty, staff, and students and assisting other ITS staff when needed.
