Covers such topics as legislative, assessment, and programming issues; risk indicators and risk assessment; tools and instruments for informal assessment; and interpreting standardized observational measures.

Examines current national and regional topics related to curriculum and instruction. Although topics will change, students may normally register for this course only once. An exception to this policy may be request through the Program Director or Dean of Arts & Sciences.
