TU's Enrollment Exceeds 3,308 Students

TIFFIN UNIVERSITY, TIFFIN, OH—Tiffin University’s total enrollment for the fall 2009 semester is 3,308 students, which is a 22.3% increase over the total of 2,705 enrolled last year (fall of 2008). Compared with the 1,500 students enrolled in the fall of 2003, this year’s enrollment represents a six-year increase of 120.6%.

According to Tiffin University President Paul Marion, “The fact that enrollment has more than doubled in six years reflects the positive reputation that Tiffin University has achieved for providing a high quality educational experience.”

Of the 3,308 students who are enrolled, 1,024 are in graduate degree programs, 530 are in bachelor’s degree completion programs, 1,303 are in bachelor’s degree programs, 353 are in associate’s degree programs, and 98 are non-degree-seeking students. This fall’s entering class of 488 new undergraduates on the Tiffin campus is 18% higher than the fall 2008 entering class of 415 new undergraduates.
