As you prepare to bring your things to Tiffin University, you will want to record the serial numbers of your property. As you live in the halls, you will want to protect your personal belongings by keeping your doors and windows locked. Some students take out a renter’s insurance policy to cover stereos, televisions, computers, and camera equipment while in the residence halls. Many times, however, a family homeowner’s insurance policy will cover any loss or damage. Tiffin University does not insure students’ personal property or compensate for damage or loss, but we do have information about renter’s insurance for students at 419-448-3264.
