Tiffin University was established in 1888 and is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools which is one of the six regional accreditation bodies recognized by essentially all of the major public and private colleges and universities in America. We offer a nationally accredited Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree and a top-notch Bachelor of Criminal Justice (BCJ) degree. The programs are designed to help working adults achieve career goals through the acquisition of enhanced technology, communication and leadership skills.

The BA, BBA, BCJ Programs

The Bachelor of Arts in Professional Studies

The Bachelor of Arts in Professional Studies is a flexible degree design for those students who have earned an associate degree in a technical/professional discipline. This is a career oriented degree program built upon the concept of the “inverted degree” which permits the students to complete the degree based on the approved technical occupational major that the student possesses. To complete the Bachelor of Arts in Professional Studies degree, the student must finish all 54 hours of the program for Tiffin University graduation requirements.

The Bachelor of Business Administration

Tiffin University’s seated and online business programs are authorized by the Ohio Board of Regents and by the exclusive Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The ACBSP accredits only 25-30% of business programs across the nation, which makes this even more impressive.

In addition, Tiffin University recently received prestigious accreditation from The European Council for Business Education (ECBE) for its Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree programs. TU works closely with the ECBE, headquartered in Chamby, Switzerland, for its programs of study offered in Europe.

The Bachelor of Criminal Justice

The BCJ program provides students with the skills necessary to analyze threats to the communication infrastructure, and to assess the role of terrorism in world politics, among other skills. The program brings together working professionals from the criminal justice system. The distinguished faculty has proven academic and professional careers. This kind of diversity encourages a dynamic synergy in the classroom.
