Emerging from twelve years of tradition with the Heartland Summer Vocal Camp, the all-new ProMusic Workshop is designed to help teachers and students develop their understanding of jazz, pop, a cappella, hip hop and other commercial musical styles. Programs are open to all high school and college students and teachers, regardless of experience level. Participants have ranged from high school freshmen to graduate students, and novices to professional performers and college professors. Graduate and undergraduate college credit is available to participants for an additional Tiffin University tuition fee.

We are proud to welcome as our new guest artists-in-residence the hip hop producer J Rawls (Mos Def, Talib Kweli), and the New York City soul singer, songwriter and recording artist Jeanette Berry. The faculty also features outstanding vocal educators, including: Justin Binek, Assistant Professor of Vocal Jazz at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia; Brad Rees, Music Department Chair at Tiffin University; and Chris Venesile, of the Kent State University Music Education faculty. Members of the award-winning a cappella groups Up in the Air and Higher Ground, and the hip hop group Sound & Silence, will also serve as camp faculty and staff.
