July 11-13, 2013

Our camp features four pool play sessions and playoffs, providing teams with at least 26 games against competition from around the region. On this main page you will find a camp itinerary, along with basic information about our camp for coaches, parents, and players. The varsity and junior varsity webpages will be updated during and after each pool play with scores, results, and locations. Site directions are available off the website, as well. Camp Payment Options - Play, Commuter, Resident

Play Option Players & Coaches - Cost is $35 per player (Coaches are free)

Your teams will not be provided t-shirts, meals, housing, or transportation. T-shirts will be available for your players to purchase.

Commuter Players & Coaches - Cost is $70 per player (1 coach per team is free, additional coaches are $35)

You will be provided:

Lunch on Friday in the Gillmor Student Center, and Box Lunches delivered to your play site on Saturday

Camp t-shirt for each player

Resident Players & Coaches - Cost is $140 per player (1 Coach per team is free, additional coaches are $70)

You will be provided:

Six meals (Pizza Pickup at Gillmor Gym on Thursday night, three meals on Friday in Gillmor Student Center, Breakfast at Gillmor Student Center on Saturday, & Box Lunches to be picked up at Saturday Breakfast between 6:30-7:30am)

Housing in an on-campus residential building with beds, shower, and bathroom facilities provided.

Camp t-shirt

Bring with you: pillows, blanket, bed sheet, toiletries, towel, fan (dorms are not air-conditioned) and appropriate playing attire and equipment

IMPORTANT HOUSING NOTE: ANY DAMAGES TO DORM ROOMS WILL BE CHARGED TO THE APPROPRIATE SCHOOL. PLEASE LEAVE ROOMS IN EXACT SHAPE AS WHEN YOU ARRIVED.

Additional Information for Coaches and Players

There will be no coaches meeting prior to camp; coaches packets will be emailed to you and available at your first play site.

Check the website the night prior to camp for any last minute changes to the schedule.

4-team pool play matches will be two games to 25, starting at 4-4, with no cap. Any three team pools will have matches consisting of three games to 25, starting at 4-4.

Matches will otherwise follow Ohio High School Volleyball Rules (libero, substitutions, etc).

Water will be available at each site.

Coolers are allowed on site but not in gyms.

Trainers will be available for emergencies – please bring your own athletic tape and supplies.

Jerseys are not required; however, if you are using a libero, a contrasting shirt is preferred.

Your play site will likely change from one pool to another – please check the website or your coach’s packet for details.
