TIFFIN UNIVERSITY, Tiffin, OH—Mr. William F. Hertzer and his late wife, Jean Grady Hertzer (TU Class of 1956) have given significant gifts to support Tiffin University. The most recent was a $1 million gift to name the Department of Accounting and Finance in his name. Mr. Hertzer is an alumnus, trustee, donor, and Tiffin, Ohio resident.
Tiffin University honored Magnus Terra Company, a small real estate investment group, for their philanthropic efforts on June 13 with a ceremony and ribbon cutting. The area behind TU's Main Classroom Building has been named the Magnus Terra Commons and features new patio furniture, TU cornhole boards and new landscaping. The area will serve as a student gathering area for nearby residence halls.
Tiffin University celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the largest esports arena in the nation on Friday, April 13. The event, open to the public, included a tour of the facility, a showcase of esport student-athletes gaming and refreshments. The complex houses a state-of-the-art training room as well as a gaming lounge for students to practice and compete.

Tiffin University celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the Performing Arts Laboratory (PAL) located at 227 Miami Street on September 14. The event, open to TU faculty, staff, students and the Tiffin community included a tour of the facility and refreshments.
