Tyler currently serves as the Director for Tiffin University’s Title III Grant. In this role, he is responsible for the programmatic and fiscal activities of the grant that was awarded to the university in 2021. In addition to being responsible for the Title III Grant, Tyler is also the School Certifying Official for Tiffin University; In this role, Tyler is responsible for certifying enrolled students to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Any students with eligible VA education benefits are certified by Tyler. Prior to joining Tiffin University in April of 2021, Tyler served as the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Provost for Maricopa County Community Colleges. In this role, Tyler was responsible for fiscal and programmatic activities for the Office of the Provost and the Academic and Student Affairs Division which encompassed curriculum, academic research and assessment, student affairs, strategic planning and institutional effectiveness, university relations, transfer and articulation, grants development and management, international education, faculty professional growth and development, marketing, high-school-to-college pathways and outreach programs, and guided pathways through the Transformation initiative. Tyler earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Public Service and Policy from Arizona State University in 2019.
