There is no better time than now. Start your training at TU with the health, fitness and wellness program. Learn how to design regimens, how to influence exercise and physical activities and how to manage changing health throughout the stages of life - and then you can pass that knowledge on, to improve the lives of others.

Tiffin University’s health, fitness and wellness major places an emphasis on leadership, excellence and service to provide the basis necessary for improving the lives of others.

Students will learn how to develop skills to design and manipulate regimens to work with healthy or symptomatic individuals, assess psychology and sociological aspects that influence participation in exercise and physical activity and identify the tools to develop and manage health, fitness and wellness initiatives throughout the lifespan.

Testimonials

  • “There is always gonna be a little doubt in any person's mind when it comes to new things. But for me, I think proving people, who said I couldn't do it, wrong is my biggest motivation. There's really nothing that seems impossible to me anymore, the world is constantly changing and I feel like I am much more capable of adapting to those changes now compared to when I was walking on to TU's campus for the first time.”

"I chose Tiffin because it is a university with people from all parts of the world, and the fact I could be here and meet all of them is simply amazing. Better yet, I came here for swimming and it was an honor for me to be a part of TU’s newest athletic program.”

  • “The way we see it, we’re not taking risky chances with the students we enroll. We’re taking motivated students and giving them opportunities they never thought were possible.”

  • “I began my collegiate journey at Purdue University, where I was recruited out of high school. After a few years there I decided it was best if I left and went somewhere else. I didn't really explore many options outside if Tiffin. I knew the coaches here and knew that at the end of the day, even without athletics, I could see myself attending the university. I didn’t look at the size of TU as a deciding factor, I looked more at the people that were there and the quality of education and the product that was offered - and it was the best fit for me.”
