Tiffin University’s Endowment Fund is the permanent capital of the University, providing funding for the academic mission of TU for current and future students. Funds are invested and a portion of the annual returns on the investment is used to:
- Support high quality academic programs
- Provide support to launch innovative academic programs in the future
- Attract and keep top faculty
- Ensure the brightest students demonstrating financial need have access to a Tiffin University education

Tiffin University has long been known for its academic quality. As a close-knit community of over 3,700 students, athletes, artists and risk-takers, Tiffin University creates exceptional educational opportunities for every student who enters the Tiffin universe. Maintaining that excellence requires an investment in staff, facilities and more. Tuition is not enough to cover those expenses. Which presents ongoing challenges for the University annually.
Endowing academic department chairs and professorships is a proven way to fund critical University positions for the long-term future.
Offsetting yearly salary expenses while still giving the best professors and students confidence that their degree programs and positions will continue to thrive.
The Dragon Advised Fund is a tax-advantaged philanthropic vehicle administered by Tiffin University that will allow you as a donor to make irrevocable contributions – cash, securities, etc. – to the account, receive an immediate tax deduction and recommend grants to Tiffin University programs, academic departments, student experiences as well as provide scholarships over time.
