Gillmor Student Center

The Gillmor Student Center is the heart of campus life at Tiffin University. From shared meals and campus events to student services and athletics, it plays a central role in creating a sense of belonging that supports persistence, retention and overall well-being.  

Since opening in 1988, the Center, dedicated to longtime supporters Paul and Lucy Fry (‘39) Gillmor, has grown alongside Tiffin University itself. What began as a central hub for a smaller student body has tripled in size to serve today’s growing campus community. It now houses key campus services, student life spaces, the dining hall, entertainment areas and the University’s main gymnasium, which hosts Dragon basketball and volleyball.  

As Tiffin University continues to grow, planned enhancements to the Gillmor Student Center build on this strong foundation by further enriching the student experience. These additions are designed to strengthen how students gather and stay engaged on campus throughout their college journey.  

Proposed updates aim to enhance the student experience by creating expanded gathering spaces, dining facilities and wellness opportunities, strengthening the center’s role as the central hub for student life on campus.
