Kit Tiell received a bachelor’s in business from Tiffin University in 2008 and an MBA from Webster University in London in 2010. He started his career as a tax advisor working for both Deloitte and EY preparing U.S. and U.K. tax returns for ultra-high net worth individuals. In 2016, Kit returned home to join Tiell Financial Group as part of the succession planning as his aunt, the founder, prepared for her own retirement. Kit’s role at Tiell Financial Group continues to evolve depending on client needs and industry trends. His job allows him to help friends, family and neighbors save for the future, retire with confidence and transition through stages of life.
Kit holds Series 7 and Series 66 registrations, along with licensing in life, variable annuities, accident and health. He is also a Financial Advisor and Investment Advisor Representative (IAR).
Kit is passionate about downtown Tiffin and recently completed a multi-year renovation of a historic building where he resides on the 2nd floor and rents out the storefront and two additional apartments. To help further the revitalization in downtown Tiffin, Kit serves on the Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce Board, the Downtown Development Committee and the Downtown Tiffin Business Enhancement Committee where he speaks with business owners and make connections to needed services.
Outside work, Kit is a dedicated member of Crossfit Tiffin and enjoys running with his dog, Killian. Kit was appointed to Tiffin University’s Board of Trustees in 2023
