Our fantastic Performing Arts Lab (PAL) facility features large rehearsal spaces for TU bands, choirs, dance teams and commercial ensembles, a professional quality recording studio, keyboard & production lab, and more.

fitzy in studio
Tiffin University welcomes Philadelphia producer, songwriter and musician Brian Fitzy as our first producer-in-residence. Each semester TU hosts a guest artist, engineer or producer to spend a full week with TiffinMusic students. Fitzy’s sessions in November 2017 ran from noon to midnight every day, creating more than a dozen complete individual student and ensemble projects.

TiffinMusic songwriters workshopping some new music in a session led by Christian Porter, half of the duo Porter & Sayles, and featured on NBC’s The Voice.
pal dance studio
The TU Dance Team working in our new rehearsal studio, which features a sprung floor, double barre, mirror wall, and advanced temperature control. These talented and dedicated dancers are hard at work in rehearsals every morning at 6am!
pal keyboard lab
The new keyboard and production lab features the whole line of Yamaha Clavinovas, including advanced models for beatmaking, composition and multitrack recording. Three hip hop centered beatmaking workstations will be added in early 2018.
