2026 TIFFIN UNIVERSITY COMMENCEMENT
Saturday, May 2 at the Heminger Center
10 a.m. – Graduate Ceremony for Master’s and Doctoral Degrees
3 p.m. – Undergraduate Ceremony for Bachelor’s Degrees
**Tickets are not required for guests at either ceremony
Both commencement ceremonies will be livestreamed at youtube.com/@TiffinUniversity.
Graduation Day Description
Students, family and friends should arrive to campus with enough time to find parking. While students are checking in and preparing for their special moment, family and friends can settle into their seats at the Heminger Center.
Before the undergraduate ceremony, students will process down Miami Street. Students will enter the Heminger Center, surrounded by faculty and staff who have supported them throughout their time at TU. Students will take their seats and remain seated throughout the ceremony. They will walk across the stage when their name is announced, then they will return to their seats for the remainder of the event. After the ceremony concludes, students will join their family and friends to celebrate their achievement.
Graduation day schedule inforMATION
Doctoral & Graduate Ceremony – Saturday, May 2 at 10 a.m.
- Registration and check in at the Heminger Center begins at 9 a.m.
- Please enter the building through the turf side doors. There will be signs posted. THIS IS FOR GRADUATES ONLY.
- In the event of inclement weather, a decision will be made on Friday, May 1 by 5 p.m. regarding the location for students to check in. This will be communicated via the student’s Tiffin University email account.
- The Heminger Center will open at 9 a.m. for seating and everyone must be seated by 9:45 a.m.
- Tickets ARE NOT required for the ceremony for guests. Attendance is unlimited.
- Please do NOT bring any additional items to carry.
- Only the graduate can walk across the stage unless prior approval has been granted
- Beginning at 9 a.m., there will be flower sales inside the Heminger Center for guests who wish to purchase flowers for graduates.
- Graduates and guests please meet outside of the Heminger Center after the ceremony.
- The Heminger Center will close at 11:30 a.m. in preparation for the second ceremony.
Undergraduate Ceremony – Saturday, May 2 at 3 p.m.
- Registration and check in at the Gillmor Student Center begins at 1:30 p.m. Once you enter the building you will be directed to the correct location .
- The Heminger Center will open at 1:30 p.m. for seating and everyone must be seated by 2:45 p.m.
- Tickets ARE NOT required for the ceremony for guests. Attendance is also unlimited for guests to attend the graduation ceremony.
- Please encourage your guests to go directly to the Heminger Center to obtain their seats and to prevent delays in the ceremony beginning or missing part of the ceremony
- Please do NOT bring any additional items to carry; you will be responsible for any items you bring as we will NOT be keeping/holding/watching any items for students.
- Only the graduate can walk across the stage unless prior approval has been granted

Parking Information
The Big Lots parking lot at 644 W. Market St., Tiffin will be used as graduation day parking.
- Shuttle busses will run from 9 a.m. through 6 p.m.
- Drop-off/pickup-up will be at the front of the Heminger Center
- Shuttle busses will be running continually throughout the day
On-campus parking will be available in the parking lots throughout campus
- Parking is not allowed on the grass
- Golf carts will be picking up and dropping off graduates/guests throughout the day on campus.
