Degrees & Certificates
B.A. in Commercial Music with a concentration in Production & Engineering and a minor in Management, Tiffin University
Grace Winrod is an Undergraduate Admissions Counselor at Tiffin University, specializing in recruiting first-year students for the university’s TiffinArts programs. A 2023 graduate of TU with a degree in Commercial Music, Grace was actively involved in the arts throughout her undergraduate experience. She participated in the marching band, concert band, and jazz band as an alto saxophonist, university choir, and Word on the Street, TU’s touring funk band, while also contributing to the planning of various performances and events. Her transformative experience at TU inspired her to pursue a career in admissions, where she now helps students find the best fit for their academic and personal growth. She is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Brand and Digital Marketing.
Originally from Seville, a small town in northeast Ohio, Grace remains actively involved with her family’s farm, where they raise livestock and produce. She also volunteers with the Medina County Fair and 4-H programs, serving on the publicity and entertainment committees and mentoring youth in leadership and personal development. Her experience in 4-H instilled in her a strong work ethic, public speaking skills, and a passion for guiding young people—qualities that directly shape her approach to college admissions. She understands the challenges students face when making important educational decisions and uses her background to help them navigate the admissions process with confidence, encouraging them to apply the skills they’ve gained through extracurricular involvement to their college journey.
In her free time, she enjoys watching reality TV and Friends, attending country concerts and rodeos, and staying active through Zumba and cardio drumming. She also has a love for pasta, ice cream, and spending time with her friends, family, and her energetic orange cat, Ray Ray.
