Tiffin University is collecting donations for the Dragon Armoire, a program that provides gently used professional attire to students preparing for career fairs, interviews and other events. The initiative aims to help students make a strong impression while increasing awareness of current industry expectations.
TU affiliates and Seneca County residents are encouraged to donate new or gently used items, including:
- Full suits (jackets and pants and/or skirts)
- Contemporary suit jackets and blazers
- Shirts and blouses to wear under suits or blazers
- Dress slacks and pants
- Skirts and dresses
- Closed-toed dress shoes
- Ties
“We know that it can be challenging for students to find professional attire when interviewing for jobs at the conclusion of their collegiate journey,” said Ash Staib, Project Manager for the Dragon Armoire at Tiffin University.
“Having the right attire can make the difference between students landing their dream job or not. These donations from our community help put our students one step closer to achieving that goal.”
Donations can be dropped off on TU’s campus, 155 Miami St., Tiffin, at the Murphy Academic Support Center in the Pfeiffer Library from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, or at the Gillmor Student Center outside the housing and transformation office at any time.
