Light the Fire STEM Institute

Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine (OCOM) – Guaranteed Interview

Tiffin University has established a new articulation agreement with the Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine—giving qualified TU students and alumni a guaranteed interview for OCOM’s Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine program. This partnership strengthens TU’s pre-professional opportunities and supports students pursuing medical careers at one of the nation’s newest high-tech osteopathic medical schools.

Hikma Pharmaceuticals Tour

Tiffin University students had the opportunity to take part in an exclusive tour of Hikma Pharmaceuticals, hosted by the American Chemical Society (ACS) and the National Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (NAAHP). During the visit, students received a behind-the-scenes look at Hikma’s laboratories and production facilities, gaining valuable insight into how high-quality medicines are developed and manufactured. They also spoke with industry experts, explored various career paths in chemistry, biology, and healthcare, and saw firsthand how science and innovation come together in the pharmaceutical field. The experience offered an engaging and educational perspective on the real-world applications of their classroom learning.
