Andrea Gibson

Andrea Gibson joined Tiffin University in January 2026 as Director of Alumni and Community Relations and Development Officer. In this role, she is responsible for cultivating and strengthening lifelong relationships with alumni and friends of the University, engaging them through their gifts of time, talent, and treasure as to impact current and future students.

Prior to joining Tiffin University, Andrea served as Executive Director of the Sandusky County Communities Foundation, where she led fund development efforts, streamlined grant and scholarship processes, and collaborated closely with nonprofits and community organizations throughout the region to expand philanthropic impact.

In recognition of her leadership and community involvement, Andrea was honored with a 20 Under 40 Toledo award in 2022 and named Citizen of the Year by the Sandusky County Chamber of Commerce.

A native of Tiffin, Ohio, Andrea is a proud alumna of Tiffin University, graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Organizational Management with a concentration in Marketing. She has served on numerous nonprofit boards and committees and currently serves on the boards of Giving Birthdays (a nonprofit she founded in 2021), Sandco Industries, and the YMCA of Sandusky County.

Outside of her professional work, Andrea enjoys live music, reading, and traveling with her family and friends.
