Jeff Oravitz currently works as a Senior Advisor with Arsenal Capital Partners, a middle market private equity firm. He recently retired as the Chief Executive Officer of Seal for Life Industries, formerly the Arsenal Capital Partners’ global coatings platform, where he served on the Board of Directors and led the sale of the company to Henkel Corporation of Germany in April 2024.
Oravitz is the former Vice President of PPG Coatings Services and former President of MetoKote Corporation, based in Lima, Ohio. He previously served as President and CEO and Board of Directors member of MetoKote and led the process to sell the company to PPG Industries. He joined MetoKote in 2005, when he was named Vice President, North American In-Plant Businesses.
Prior to his tenure at MetoKote, Jeff enjoyed a 20-year career with PPG Industries, Inc., where he served in a variety of technical, commercial and management roles with increasing responsibility in several of the company’s coatings businesses. He is a 2010 recipient of the prestigious Brewer Award from the Electrocoat Association, where he formerly served as Vice President and as a member of the Board of Directors. Oravitz has also held leadership positions with the Shawnee Country Club, Board of Lima Central Catholic High School, Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce, Hunt Valve Company and Tiffin University’s Board of Trustees. He currently chairs the Ohio Manufacturers Association Board and serves on the University of Dayton Parent Leadership Council. He is also active in various private and angel investment groups across the United States.
A native of Pittsburgh, Oravitz received a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and an MBA, both with honors, from the University of Pittsburgh.
