TU & OCCJE – Criminal Justice and Social Sciences Internship & Career Fair from 10-12:30 in the Heminger Center
Open to students of all majors but will be most relevant to those studying within the School of Criminal Justice & Social Sciences or those seeking to enter the field. 50+ representatives from local, state, federal, private, and non-profit organizations will be in attendance – all of whom with ties to CJSS. Students can expect to learn more about the how their degrees can be utilized after graduation, practice their elevator pitch & self-selling skills, as well as make valuable connections with industry contacts that could very well turn into future internship or employment offers. Business casual attire is expected, and students should come with copies of their resumes ready to distribute. Several resource stations will be available during the event, including: A resume printing station, professional headshot booth, and miniature version of the Dragon Armoire professional clothing closet.
