TU’s Wood Named VP for Enrollment Management

TIFFIN UNIVERSITY, Tiffin, OH—Dr. Amy Wood has been named Vice President for Enrollment Management according to Dr. Lillian Schumacher, President.

As Vice President, Wood serves as the senior enrollment officer for Tiffin University. She will develop and implement marketing and recruitment strategies to achieve enrollment goals for College Credit Plus (CCP), undergraduate, graduate, and international students, both campus-based and online. She will lead TU’s admissions, admissions operations, financial aid, and marketing and communication staff and will represent the admission office to internal and external constituencies.

“I am extremely excited about being named Vice President,” Wood said. “Over the last 13 years, I have worked mainly with traditional-aged and adult students. I am thrilled that this position will allow me to continue working with these student populations, but also allow me to work more closely with international students. Being a TU alum and from the Tiffin area, I am excited about my new role and continuing positive momentum for Tiffin University.”

Prior to being named Vice President for Enrollment Management, Wood has served in multiple roles at Tiffin University, such as the Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management, Dean of Admissions, Director of Graduate & Distance Education Admissions, Director of Columbus Academic Center, and a Financial Aid Counselor.

“Dr. Wood brings a great deal of knowledge to this position,” said TU President Dr. Lillian Schumacher. “Her experience in enrollment management and passion for her alma mater will continue the drive of moving Tiffin University forward.”

She earned a Doctorate of Philosophy in Organization and Management – General Business from Capella University, a Master’s degree in Organization Development from Bowling Green State University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Tiffin University.
