Tiffin University will celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting of its new Center for Innovation and Learning located at 88 S. Sandusky St., Tiffin on Saturday, August 23 at 12:30 p.m. The event, open to the public, will include a tour of the facility and refreshments will be provided.
The Center for Innovation and Learning is a 30,000 square foot academic facility that will shape the future of education on campus. It features a new boardroom, offices and 14 state-of-the-art classrooms, all specially designed to foster creativity, critical thinking and interactive learning experiences.
Essential to the Center for Innovation and Learning is the Gary and Laura Robinette Center for Entrepreneurship, which will serve as a hub for innovation and community partnerships. Equipped with the latest technology and resources, the center for entrepreneurship will empower students and faculty to develop new ideas and engage with local and regional businesses, reinforcing TU’s commitment to academic excellence and real-world application.
The building also includes a lobby area and café offering additional spaces for studying and relaxation. This new facility not only expands the University’s capacity to accommodate growing enrollment, but it also creates modern, adaptable learning environments. The addition of these spaces will greatly enhance the academic experience for students, faculty and staff.
This building was designed first and foremost for our students – to enrich their academic journey and prepare them for the realities of an ever-evolving professional world.
