The Tiffin University Department of Financial Aid is hosting an upcoming event to assist students and parents in completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
The event will be held at 10 a.m. on February 19, 2022 and will take place in Room 106 in the Hertzer Technology Building on the TU campus. Financial Aid counselors will be assisting students and parents with the filing process, and will be available to answer any financial aid and FAFSA-related questions.
“It’s important for students to complete the FAFSA as soon as possible in order to qualify for their best financial aid award since there are some forms of aid that are limited and some scholarships that require a FAFSA to apply,” says Tangi Ritchie, TU Director of Financial Aid. We recognize that the process can be overwhelming which is why we want families to know that we can help students complete the application.”
Families can bring 2020 W2 and Tax Return information pertaining to both students and caretakers to help with the process. Attendees are also encouraged to sign up for Federal Student Aid IDs and passwords before arriving, however it isn’t a necessary requirement and should still attend if unable to do so.
Reservations are required and limited seating is available. TU asks that just one student and one guardian per household attend to observe proper social distancing regulations. Masks are required to be worn in all campus buildings.
