Tiffin University is expanding its graduate offerings with the addition of a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program, marking an exciting step as the University enters the professional healthcare education space and responds to growing workforce demand for advanced nursing credentials.
Designed for working registered nurses seeking career advancement and leadership opportunities, the MSN program is offered fully online and includes a 500-hour practicum requirement. The application is currently open for fall 2026.
The program features three distinct academic pathways that allow students to select the option that best aligns with their career and professional goals. The MSN in health systems administration is a 36-credit hour program focused on leadership, organizational management and healthcare operations.
Tiffin University also offers two dual degree options that combine nursing leadership with advanced business expertise. The MSN/MBA dual degree program in health systems administration with a concentration in healthcare administration is a 48-credit hour program designed for nurses pursuing executive and administrative leadership roles within healthcare organizations. The MSN/MBA dual degree program in health systems administration with a concentration in data analytics is a 57-credit hour program that prepares graduates to lead healthcare systems through data driven decision making and strategic analysis.
“The addition of the Master of Science in Nursing program represents a significant milestone for Tiffin University as we continue to expand our graduate offerings,” said Dr. Peter J. Holbrook, Provost and Chief Operating Officer at Tiffin University. “These flexible pathways provide a unique opportunity for nurses to expand both clinical leadership and business competencies, positioning graduates to meet the complex challenges facing today’s healthcare systems.”
