Tiffin University’s Assembly for Staff Engagement and Talent (ASSET) has named its annual staff award winners. Five awards were presented in total.
Celebrating Cultural Uniqueness (CCU) Distinguished Leadership Award
The Celebrating Cultural Uniqueness (CCU) Distinguished Leadership Award recognizes achievements in developing a culturally diverse, caring university community reflective of inclusive excellence. The 2025 recipient was Nadia Lewis, Vice President for Human Resources and the Center for InterculTUral Excellence.
Service to Campus Award
The Service to Campus Award recognizes one’s individual excellence in aiding the University’s community and its members. Judy Reynolds, Graphic Designer, was the recipient.
Service to the Community Award
The Service to the Community Award recognizes one’s individual excellence in service to the local community of Tiffin and Seneca County. The 2025 recipient was Vickie Wilkins, Director of Alumni Relations.
Excellence in ICARE Values Award
The Excellence in ICARE Values Award recognizes a staff member’s commitment to embodying the chosen Tiffin University ICARE Value for the given academic year. This year’s focus was accountability. This year’s recipient was Sherri Adachi, Payroll Administrator.
Lori Hall Staff Member of the Year Award
The Lori Hall Staff Member of the Year Award honors its namesake former employee, whose character embodied the same values the ASSET leadership team deems integral for an exceptional staff member. Bethani Burkhart, Director of Career Services, was named the recipient.
Their passion, leadership and commitment to excellence help shape a campus culture where everyone is empowered to thrive.
