Tiffin University has announced a new collaboration with Wolfies Nuts, a family-owned roasted nut company based in Findlay, Ohio, to introduce a custom salty snack, Blaze’s Bites.
Blaze’s Bites feature Wolfies signature Crunchy Coated Beer Nuggets; extra-large redskin peanuts slow roasted in small batches and finished with the company’s famous crunchy coating. Blaze’s Bites mix crunchy, savory, salty and nutty together for a unique treat.
Wolfie’s Nuts, known for its commitment to old-fashioned roasting methods and handcrafted quality, has been a staple in northwest Ohio since its founding in 1992. The business traces its roots to a local general store run by Maggie Phillips, whose slow-roasted peanuts inspired the company’s signature style. Today, Wolfies is operated by Bill Wolf, his son Jared and daughter Olivia, who continue the tradition of making sure all products are prepared with the finest ingredients, utmost care, attention to detail and packaged to enhance the fresh roasted flavor.
“We are proud to introduce Blaze’s Bites through our partnership with Wolfie’s Nuts, a respected family-owned enterprise in our region,” said Mitch Blonde, Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Public Affairs at Tiffin University. “This collaboration reflects our commitment to supporting local enterprises while creating unique, high-quality products that bring the TU brand to life. We look forward to sharing Blaze’s Bites with Dragon Nation.”
